Ancient Wisdom Boards Reincarnation Many ancient traditions say that human beings reincarnate in life after life on earth. Do we believe in reincarnation? Have we ever had any past-life experiences of our own? ![]() ![]() Devante - 03:48am Dec 14, 2008 EST (# 10 of 12) re: Dreams
are dreams just snippets of past lives woven into snippets of current ones? and the magic is
the interstitial space between lives, the supernatural? that's a cool idea

I believe that we have to earn the right to reincarnate. If you have experinced or lived on earth and not done the will of god then you will not be allowed to experince or contribute (what may not have been the truth) somewhere else(ie another planet with intelligentlife on it). I certainly don't believe that we can reincarnate as animals because for the most part other creatures have no desire to be like us (or won't allow us to be like them) because they(other creatures on earth know that the majority of human beings are usually evil towards them.

There are millions who consider the concept of reincarnation pure nonsense. The thought of coming out of a life experience (on earth) into another (on a latter date also on earth, may be elsewhere) is intriguing. it comes with the hope that human life is imperishable, and holds a huge significance. It seems to present the picture of a benevolent God as opposed to a God who waits for you to die and then face His wrath in hell, or rewards you in heaven. Through it I see a God that gives a second or more chances. But do I believe in it? My senses want me to believe, my intellects impress on me some irrefutable reasons to believe. I am yet to see a culture on earth that does not hold reincarnation in the core of life. Here in Africa our cosmology is cyclical, because we believe in the return of a buried life. Is reincarnation not a common strand in the human DNA before modern science with its nonidentical twin religion tried to erase it?
